This issue of the Ark contains articles about various problems that can be unified into one work - addiction. About all kinds of addiction one may say that they are chronic, insidious and harm not only to the person who is addicted but also to their relatives. All addictions are based on the mechanism of rejection which is barrier for understanding and realizing one’s own powerlessness towards this peculiar problem. Also assistance from other people is very important: one may refer to them in the moment of danger.
