The manual is for journalists who cover the issue of HIV\AIDS in Mass Media. It informs about the aspects of the issue that should be considered when compiling articles, and TV and radio reports, as well as programs. There are also materials on background of HIV-infection, medical concerns and usage of special terms, recommendations on how to operate the epidemiological data. Taking into account the fact that quite often the issue of HIV/AIDS is overloaded with prejudice, and people living with HIV are often victims of discrimination, this manual also contains warnings on what expressions can lead to forming of the biased attitude towards HIV-positive people.
