During the period of 1996-2006 there was an increase in the number of HIV-positive pregnant women on the territories of Russia. As a result, the number of children born to them also grows. During this period as many as 24,811 newborns were registered. Data, presented in this newsletter, was analyzed according to the data received from the territories (data is shown in absolute numbers).
