This analysis is made by UNICEF on the situation of children in the Russian Federation. An attempt was made to evaluate success in implementing goals on development which were proclaimed by the Millennium Declaration and which are about children and are aimed at solving global issues like hunger and poverty, maternal and infantile death, HIV/AIDS and other illnesses. At the same time these goals are aimed at overall reach of elementary education, gender equality, ecological steadiness and global partnership on development issues by the year 2015. Special emphasis I this document was made on deep roots of the issues which children come along; in this document the idea is stated that the government solves these issues. Also proposals are made on how to speed up this process, and on what further actions should be taken.

The pamphlet contains brief information about trainings, conducted by specialists of the Russian Red Cross/Irkutsk Branch.
