The Module contains information on pediatric aspects of HIV-infection. Emphasis is made on clinical approach towards provision of medical assistance to HIV-infected children. Objectives of the Course: To learn about epidemiology and peculiarities of progression of HIV-infection in children (0-12 months old and older) To learn about the methods of diagnostics of HIV in children. To learn about clinical symptoms of HIV-infection in children. To learn about clinical approaches towards provision of medical help to children with symptomatic progression of HIV-infection. To learn about principles of ARV-therapy for children. To learn about principles of palliative care for children.
