The Collection include articles by Russian and foreign authors. The medical section is represented by information on the basis of international standards of providing medical assistance to HIV-positive pregnant women and their newly born children with the goal to decrease the risk of mother-to-child transmission of HIV. The section “Pre and post-test counseling” narrates about main aspects of interaction with patients, allowing to conduct prevention work and as a result to prevent further spread of HIV epidemic. The section “Peer counseling” narrates about effective prevention approach, based on the principle “peer -to-peer”.
