This report presents information about how UNAIDS promotes increase of effectiveness of global response to AIDS: leadership and promotion of effective measures in response to the epidemic; strategic information for joining efforts to fight AIDS all over the world; tracking, monitoring and evaluation of the trends of the epidemic and measures to fight it; involvement of the civil society and development of partner networks; mobilizing resources to support effective actions to fight the epidemic.
