World Health Day is celebrated on April 7. This year at the initiative of World Health Organization this day motto will be “Urbanization and health”. Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights of Irkutsk region announced it during press-release. In the framework of World Health Day the Agency in association with Region Health Care Ministry will conduct theoretical and practical conferences, seminars on questions of environment factors influence on population health, diseases prevention and formation of healthy lifestyle. Open Day will pass in regional medical-athletic dispensary. Irkutsk Regional Branch of the Russian Red Cross organizes the competition of children drawing “Health it is great!” in the framework of the program directed to formation of healthy lifestyle skills.
Moreover the hot line “Preserve your health” will work at Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights from April 7 -11.
