The authors express their concern about low level of adherence among policy makers, low level of mobilization of the community, as well as about lack of measures on prevention, testing and treatment that are necessary for effective response to the growing problem among people living with hepatitis C - injection drug users in new countries-members of the EU and neighboring countries.
