As for each Russian, May is forever connected with a Great Victory Day of Fighting against Fascists. It is also symbolic that the Russian Red Cross, which history is closely connected with the history of our Motherland, is famous for such crucial dates as May15th –Birthday of the Russian Red Cross and May 8th- International Red Cross Day!
It is such a great occasion to appreciate veterans, toilers, those people whose lives have been devoted to inure to the benefit of humanity, for their unfading heroic deeds, for their contribution to peace! Many thanks to those people who have chosen to serve humanity! Let their bright lives be great examples! Let the pride in our common deed unite all of us and be the source of new efforts and energy!
