Dear friends, colleagues, and partners,
February 17th is a Random Acts of Kindness Day. It is celebrated nationwide despite nationalities, citizenships, and religious affiliations. This day appeals to everyone to be endlessly kind, impartial, and unselfish, which, without any doubt, is in common with the ideas, principles, and activities of Irkutsk Oblast branch of the Russian Red Cross.
Irkutsk Regional branch of the Russian Red Cross is initiating an Umbralla “Random Acts of Kindness Day: Actions Form Habits” fundraising campaign starting from February 17th, which will include the following events:
• humanitarian aid drive (clothes, toys, pampers, and other hygienic products for children) held by the Red Cross Visiting Nurse Service (tel: +7 (3952) 655-603, address: 9, 2nd floor, 2nd Zheleznodorozhnaya str., Irkutsk, Russia);
• donation drives held by Red Cross volunteers at Irkutsk malls;
• donations can be transferred to the account of Irkutsk Regional branch of the Russian Red Cross:

In “Payment purpose description” line one should write “Event”.
The donated funds will be used to purchase development games, stationary, hygienic kits (pampers) for children of Irkutsk Child Care Center #1 and “Rainbow Flower” Family Center.
The “Random Acts of Kindness Day: Actions Form Habits” fundraising campaign will be held February 17th-March 23rd, 2012. Russian Red Cross volunteers are planning to hold donation drives 3 hours a week at Irkutsk malls.
